MACHINE GROOMED SNOW [MGS]
Loose granular snow that has been repeatedly tilled by grooming machines so that the texture is halfway between loose granular and packed powder. Some of the snow is granular and has been so pulverized that the crystals are more like powdered sugar, rather than LSGR or PP. Occurs only after a warm/freeze with multiple grooming passes.
